Reviews of Stable House, Amberley

Best rates for a Local Hotel

We were disappointed with the accommodation and consider the pricing excessive overall. A "Gold" rating does not appear deserved to us. The internet description, although perfectly accurate with the exception of one word "beautiful", does not convey the right impression. Furnishings are adequate but basic and the only window gives out onto a dismal little courtyard with weather-worn table and chairs. The reception was kind, but having just stayed at three different superb B&Bs, with excellent cooked breakfasts and a real welcome, all at a similar price, we just feel that Stable House is over-rated and over-priced.
