Food at Vesuvio is nice, very big portions to the point you could easily share a main course between two! Staff not very friendly or knowledgeable. We sat with our empty plates in front of us after our main course for at least 20 minutes, we found we had to prompt the waiting and bar staff on several occasions. There was another party of diners on the table next to us who clearly knew the management and they were treated very well indeed. All in all, makings of a nice restaurant but the staff and service let it down. We won't be dining at Vesuvio again.
