We went there for an Easter weekend and were positively surprised:
- A very warm welcome from Sue.
- A spacious, immaculately clean and nicely decorated room.
- Large window and balcony directly onto the sea.
- Large en-suite bathroom with tub and shower.
- Coffee/tea maker plus biscuits & sweets as a welcome.
- Fridge, TV and DVD player - plus a selection of DVDs and books in case of bad weather.
- Wide selection of well prepared breakfast options - choose any one or mix!
- An amazing collection of dolls all over the place, and a really impressive cat!
Parking is available on the street, and it's just a 15 minute stroll to Deal proper if you want to eat out.
Deal is a very convinient starting point to explore the area - Dover, Sandwich, Canterbury. And waking up with the sun rising over the sea keeps you motivated to do so :-)
Thanks Sue and Dave!
PS: If you go there, don't miss out on Colin and his River Bus in Sandwich.
