Took the children to the museum and they loved it. They tried on armour and loved handling the swords. ( Me to ) The Knights of Skirbeck spent as much time as we wanted answering questions and showing us how people used to live in medieval times. I have to say I was as excited as the children when they began actually using the weapons in the courtyard. It brought the whole place to life, Great.. Will most certainly be going this year !

we went to the first of these events at the guildhall museum, & saw the knights of skirbeck training with real swords, some very dramatic story telling and even tried on some armour - great fun!
we're definitely going to this one too!
