We booked 3 rooms for my wife and I, my sister and her husband, and for my niece. The hotel is in a good position, although I guess parking is always difficult. Our room (No 15) at the very top of the building, was small and the “en suite facilities” squeezed into a cupboard were tiny, and only match by the smallest towel set I have ever come across. On saying that the power shower was hot and there was some sort of pressure. The double bed, pillows and quilt by contrast to the room were extremely comfortable. I can highly recommend the view from this room right along the seafront to Hastings Pier. Hastings being a tourist town we were surprised at the meanness of running breakfast on a Sunday morning between 7:30 and 8:30, not exactly very hospitable. And at £80 per room very poor value for money, as we had to go into town to have breakfast at 9:15 ( we found out nothing opens until 10:00/11:00). Just one other point I think worth bringing to a readers attention is when you book via the internet it won’t let you book multi rooms, I did point this out to the proprietor on the phone who told me we could book provided we paid “cash” for the second and third room, how strange is that! I would not recommend this hotel as it represents very poor hospitalty and value for money for a bed and breakfast hotel.
