Central for town - five minute walk. Room was okay. Landlord very helpful. Had front room and was disturbed by drunks walking along road most of the night. Only two hour parking outside.

Upon arriving at this guest house we were rather alarmed to see wire fencing around the front of the house, but apparently building work was going on. Parking is extemely difficult as it is only 2 hour parking or residents only. This was not mentioned when booking. We were shown to our room which was adequate, although the en suite was a bit of a laugh as it was basically a toilet and shower that has been built inside a "wardrobe" You don't want to be on the large side to use this! However the water was hot. Was none to impressed by being woken up at 7.15am by children shouting and somebody hoovering! Maybe we were unlucky to have the downstairs room, but it certainly woke us up with a start. The breakfast was good.
My overall impression was good breakfast, but would say it was more a £40 a room rate rather than £55, having stayed in the same price rooms elsewhere with far better facilities.
Definitely room for improvement
