This is a charming old coaching inn, just of the A66 and really easy to get to. My room had been recently refurbished, and seemed excellent value. There is a lovely old bar-restaurant, serving good real ales and a fine selection of home-cooked meals. I was well looked after by host Joanne and bar manager Les. Really good cooked breakfast too.
