We have been going to Jubilee Park for the last 5 years. In the past two years it has had a brand new pool, new shower block on the campsite and a new play park. It just needs new changing rooms and a new public toilet block to make it perfect. Joking aside this is self funding and is a little gem. The people in charge want a big pat on the back as its come on leaps and bounds. The staff are always friendly and keep things sensible in the pool. The campsite needs to be booked early as we have missed out on getting a pitch before and if its hot you want to be at the pool before it opens. We have queued for over and hour before and been turned away when the pool was at capacity. Very annoying to que and then be turned away. I did bring this up with the manager who explained that they have tried a number of different types of sessions over the years and that the current system (although doesn't please everyone) has been the most successful by far. In their defense they advice people to come early or wait until late afternoon (usually quietens down again). I Have found this advice to be very useful. If the pool is open from 10-6, you need to be there at 9.30 or wait untill 4pm (the price is cheaper after 3pm). If you want to spend the whole day then you can but you can't leave the pool. Hope this helps people. I have seen alot of people get frustrated over the years but if you look at the advice first it does really help and its so worth it!

Being new to caravaning we wanted to make our first trip with our 4 year old Grandson reasonably close to home. Having searched the web for sites close to Nottingham with a swimming pool we decided on Jubilee Park from www.ukcampsite.co.uk and what a fabulous 4 days we have had. We hope it stays open for years to come as the caravan site brings a lot of business to the town and its the pool which attracted us. We will be returning numerous times this summer, and having raved about it to friends with children/grandchildren they are also booking for the summer hols.

This is the best kept secret of Lincolnshire. Beautiful surroundings, tennis, outdoor pool, bowls, cafe, car boots, local village with local produce the only cinema to have a rear projector, in a pre war hut, fantastic friendly staff and fair rates. A gem, and now the local district council want to turn it into a Croquet club, WHY? Please stay open.
