Stayed at the White House during April of this year and i have to honestly say i was rather disappointed with my visit.
On check in we were met by an extremely sarcastic and abrupt receptionist, who couln't wait to hurry us to our room.
I had booked the room for my husband's birthday, after seeing this lovely four poster suite called 'Crystal' on the internet. The only thing that the website failed to mention is that it is situated on the ground floor, right next to the reception, so once you've checked in to your room, you can do anything but relax as all you can hear is phones ringing and people walking around outside your room on the WOODEN foor. and there's one more thing, there's no point asking for a wake up call as you get woken up at 7.00am by exactly the same thing. Lovely room, but maybe they should have thought twice about putting rooms right next to hte reception/kitchen area and creating a larger lounge where guests can PROPERLY relax.
