camping friends having read some of the reviews of this camping site iwould like to answer the bad review of this site.i have left it so long because i didn,t want to tell too many people how good it was in case i found it full next year firstly the camp is one the cheapest sites that i visited on tour from germany.when you compare it with our capital city site it is a gem on my tour.compare the toilets and showers .both have good hard stands.cardiff costs 17 pounds a night. aberdare 10 pounds.aberdare is very clean and i still dream of the fish and chip shop.its as good as in dawlish.warren.both camps are open plan sites .i know which one i prefer.the boot of a car is very dangerous because you can get in and away in minutes try a screwdriver.i was robbed in this way in st.tropez.the park learn centre is very informative .it makes me want to become a miner.but my father wouldn,t let me. perhaps what fails is the fight between the coal owners and the workers.nothing about the stoning of the blacklegsin ferndaleand other mining towns the reception and helpfullness in cardiff and aberdare were excellent.on every camping site when it,s full is difficult.not every body is so hygiene orrientiered as i am.antiseptic spray is best.when i see the extensions to the cricket ground and think of the cost it makes me wonder.incidentally every boy in my street could afford to put a bat on his xmas list.living in germany i can only say well done aberdare.
