Good Points: Nice location, easy parking, friendly welcome, good lunch: quickly served, spacious room, relaxed atmoshere. Bad Points: Shabby decor in places, e.g chipped sink in bathroom, chipped paintwork on skirting boards, however this did add to the 'old but charming' nature of the inn

General review: A brief but enjoyable stay and we would definately consider staying again if we are in the area.

Good Points: Both room and food were excellent and the fact everything ran smoothly Bad Points: Very little, Room a bit hot, larger bath sheets a bit nylony General review: Excellent hotel, well situated for Long Melford, with attractive individually designed rooms and wonderful food in a choice of restaurant settings. We arrived by bike having taken advantage of a special offer, didn't have any problems at all, but probably would not have booked at full-price rates.
