Disappointed with room. Cramped and dark and tired looking. Ensuite was a equivalent of a converted cupboard, small bath, shower attachment which was under a sloping ceiling so useless. Light fitting for bathroom left on bathroom shelf so very dark. Things from previous guests left in room. lunch was lovely. Breakfast good but small portion.

my father and i had a fantastic three night stay at the coach house inn. we where going for a fishing holiday for a few day's and i was lucky to find the coach house inn on the internet. it suited all our need's it was very clean and the food was fantastic . the staff were top class in every way. the bar was great for sitting and chilling out with a pint. the breakfast service in the morning was very nice indeed. i would recommend the inn to anyone who want's an up class stay for a very good price. the room's are very clean and the bed's got made every day. i can only hope to stay there again the next time i go fishing at rutland. i would like to thank charlie for makeing us feel very welcome thank's.

Time for a sensible review. I have just had the pleasure of two nights at the Coach House Inn with my wife and 12 month old daughter. We booked at the last minute just wanting a few nights away from the usual routine. We were allocated a very child friendly room and consideration was given throughout our stay to our daughter (high chair provided / bottles washed etc). The whole premises was very clean leaving us happy to let our daughter crawl around the room. In the evening we were able to turn on the baby monitor and enjoy some adult time in the excellent bar and restaurant. The food was exceptional and we enjoyed two very pleasant meals. If you are after typical pub food where your plate is stacked with meat and chips then this is not the place for you. The Coach House Inn serves well cooked restaurant style food which tasted fantastic. Overall we had a very good stay and the proximity to Rutland water made this an ideal base to explore the beautiful area. We would go again.
