0n entering we noticed the excellent decor, but unfortunately there was only one barperson and we had to wait for her to make coffee for the customers in the restaurant then serve bar snacks before she could serve us with our drinks. she then had to leave the bar unattended whilst she showed us to a table. The waitress took our order,we then had to wait forty minutes for our starter to be served. after eating our starter which was satisfactory we went up to the carvery. The menu states there was 5 types of meat on offer when in fact there was only pork and turkey we were then told that if we wanted yorkshire puddings there was a 20 minute wait. in view of the fact that we had an appointment later in the day we decided to go without the yorkshire puddings. The meal was served on a cold plate and when we ate the meal we found the majority of the vegetables were cold. We had intended to have a sweet but decided 'enough was enough'paid the bill and left. We must stress, however, that the 0NE barmaid and TW0 waitresses worked very hard and were polite in difficult circumstances.
