Great attraction, like stepping back in time. We met the Millers who handed us warm, freshly ground flour, delicious.
The food we had in the restuarant was excellent, very fresh and creative. And unlike the other reviewer, we though the salads were great.
We only planned a short trip but spent most of the day, inlcuding a lovely walk along the river.
Well worth a visit.

The restaurant at Otterton Mill is very popular with walkers and is set in ideal surroundings. Bread is produced on site and is excellent and the mill is well worth a visit. However the salads that my party had were disappointing and overpriced. At first sight all was well but unfortunately they suffered from being completed swamped in either ginger or cumin to the extent that it was impossible to taste the ingredients. I also get the impression that the owners are trying to get rich quick!
