My husband, myself and my elderly mother decided to try the pub for Sunday lunch having never been there before. The pub was spotlessly clean and the staff were excellent - THEN CAME THE FOOD - the plates were swimming in gravy, and the food was luke warm, the roast potatoes were undercooked, solid in the middle and the cabbage (what little there was) was very 'al dente', the large yorkshire puddings cut and tasted like cardboard and were, I would think, cooked in advance and then reheated. The Lamb Henry, tho' tender, was tasteless and altogether a very disappointing meal. I doubt we'll be visiting there again.
