New management since my last visit but was greeted with warmth and genuine country style hospitality from an all female team who appeared to take pride in their work. Lunch was good. Not an especially adventurous menu but then again maybe (hopefully) we have moved away a little from our beetroot foamed pub lunches. Bream cooked and presented nicely, ditto to the fish and chips. Would I go again? Of course

tues lunch. Menu looked good. My chicken very well cooked and delicious. Partners salad not such a success. However best bit was the owner who not only served with aplomb but, noticing that not all the salad was eaten (and he didnt clear the plates so chef must have said something), immeadiately offered money off. We didnt accept - not his fault she didnt like it - but found the whole episode enormously refreshing. Nice Inn, Nice food, Nice chap - Go!
