Make a date in your diary to visit here on one of their open days. My wife and I with our two boys (under five) had the most wonderful time travelling on an unlimited £10 rover ticket behind both diesel and steam scale model trains. The event is very well run from the honest and friendly welcome by the men in the car park to the excellent happy friendly team of enthusiasts in the ticket office, signal box and the platform staff and train drivers. The whistles and flags are a finer point of detail that made our visit perfect. Just brilliant! - This Dad is so looking forward to returning next year.
