During a 3 month trip across Scotland and England, NOTHING compared to Fairfield House. The owner was gracious, attentive,and brilliant at her job, the service was excellent, the rooms were comfy, clean and beautifully appointed and the breakfasts were magnificent! We could not fault this glorious place in any way - and we are well travelled, fussy kiwis!! Everything was just perfect. ( and we stayed here twice)
