We have visited this establishment on our frequent visits to Tintagle which are quite often. We have found the food really great and all home made and the staff were very friendly and will certainly come here again on our next visit.

We stopped here on a rainy afternoon on 16th August. The staff were unwelcoming and curt. We ordered a cream tea, a crab sandwich and a cappuccino. It took 15 minutes for the pot of tea and coffee to arrive -no scones or cream or sandwich and the pot of tea arrived without a cup! 10 minutes later I had to ask a member of staff who was clearly at lunch for a cup for the tea, and as to where the rest of the cream tea was and also my sandwich. She consulted with the waitress who, after a short row said "They will just have to wait". I was unimpressed to say the least. She then came over to us and in a confrontational manner told us off for asking about our food and informed us that she was on her own and we would just have to wait. I said that I was unhappy with what I had heard her say - she replied “you’ll just have to get stuffed then”. We left! Don't go to this restaurant unless you want rubbish service and rude staff. I can’t say what the quality of the food is like, we never got any!
