since the previous review the coach house is under new ownership, with much improved food service using fresh local produce, with excellent accom.

The Coach House is nicely decorated, the room we stayed in was clean, spacious and had all we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant one evening, but my meal was disappointing. A Saturday afternoon drink was spoiled by a group of foulmouthed locals whose swearing and disgusting banter made me feel totally uncomfortable, and we retreated to our room after one drink.
I would not recommend this pub to my friends.
