Good Points: Pleasant (though evidently overworked) staff. Welcoming reception area. Spacious room. Decent breakfast. Bad Points: "Ensuite" facility too cramped. Room unheated; warmed - eventually - after complaining but radiator ice cold again in the morning. Lift out of order. Two flights of stairs for an elderly couple - not funny. General review: What should (and could) be a pleasant hotel but our stay was marred by the poor points outlined above. The receptionist/barman/porter must be worth his weight in gold to the owners.

Bad Points: Unfortunately the moment you enter the hotel there is a strong smell of cooking, especially oil! The breakfasts were a great dissapointment for price.. continental over ripe bananas overdone croissants small choice for £7.50 and cooked very dry General review: Great to stay for weekend with friends not a romantic gettaway
