The Claycutter is under new management!
On Saturday 13th August I had a birthday meal with my family. The place came across as a traditional pub with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff.
Our meal was surprising for all of the right reasons. Good menu, reasonable prices, very generous portions and absolutely delicious. The best meal out we’ve have had for a very long time.
We ordered a mixture of full meals, light bits and children’s meal; all excellent.
My only suggestion would be that if you are going to have a full meal, make sure you have one of the magnificent desserts and don’t eat for about a day before :-)
