Highly recommended. Welcoming staff, good beer, nice rooms. The menu shows thought and effort, beautifully cooked and presented. Very good value. You would be pleased to get this food in France, let alone the UK. Whether you are shell suit or business suit, the menu will cater for you. The English breakfast is as near to heaven as it is possible to get, without actually dying. Which you might, from over-indulgence.
The pub is only a very short walk to very attractive beaches and seaside walks, and Cromer is a pleasant and interesting town.
Certainly deserves its AA rating, and perhaps more.
