It really does not justify the title of museum. It is a personal collection of railway bits and pieces in a back garden. Nothing actually works (not necessarily a condition of a museum), items are in no coherent order, and there are almost no explanations of the provenance of anything. If items were displayed in some sort of logical manner, if there were labels explaining the history of items, and if the collection gave any impression of being looked after, as against just being jumbled together in a higgledy piggledy manner, it might possibly be worth a visit. As it is, it can only be of interest to railway buffs, who perhaps don't need any explanations, but are simply fascinated to see any old railway related junk. The fact that my partner and I were the only visitors on a sunny bank holiday probably speaks for itself. Word tends to get round, though it unfortunately did not get through to us until we had paid our money.
