I was so shocked to read the previous review, the reviewer must have just had some bad luck. I can wholly recommed visiting during December...it is absolutely magical. My children are at senior school now & STILL want to go. The cakes (and ice cream) are wonderful but Father Christmas, and the full nativity are something else. You are not bundled into a queue and hastily asked for cash, Santa takes considerable time to speak to the kids, and where else can you actually feed his reindeer? A MUST SEE for kids of all ages, go when it goes dark & follow the star!

Were looking forward to our visit to Farmer Parr's but were bitterly dissapointed. Not only were there hardly any staff about to speak to but there were no tractor rides or pony rides. The few staff that were about on the farm didn't even greet us with a friendly hello. When we first entered the farm and went to see the small animals, there was a young girl working there. As we were unsure if you could touch the animals, we asked her. She gave a one word answer inbetween texting on her phone and then went away. We felt like we had wandered on to somebody's farm and weren't really meant to be there. If it was because of the time of year we went, then maybe it should close if nothing is going to be available as advertised.
