Visited this venue many times, our visit yesterday will be our last for a long time.
Just before 5pm the venue was very quiet. After 3 attempts to successfully place an order for meals with an over efficient lady at the bar, we left. I had been asked who required beef, did the child want meat or sausages when asked for a child carvery, final straw was no sauce for child pasta. There was no obvious notice that this knowledge was required. The lady's attitude was such that they were doing my family of 6 a big favour to take any order. Wrong! We had a lovely meal at another local pub who did appreciate us being there - Haywain Staff you have a lot to learn!
