I now tell anyone NOT to stay there. After a long drive from Colchester, we arrived at 8.15am. We knew we were early, but we thought we might be able to park the car, drop off our bags, and be recommended somewhere to go for breakfast. The first question was "What do you want?". I said I we are booked in for tonight but can you tell us where we can get tea and breakfast. We were told to come back at 4pm and don't we realise that nowhere is open yet as it's a sleep little town. We asked if we could get breakfast there and he said "come back at 4pm". They were so rude and unwelcoming, we booked in at a friendly B&B across the road.

a beautiful house and setting, have been going there for 3 years now. clifford and josie parker are lovely people and very welcoming. I have eaten many cream teas in devon but they do not taste quite like josies, they are the BEST.the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, sitting by the river in Lynton is a must but also recommend valley of the rocks and heddons mouth but there is so much to do i couldn't list it all. Highly recommend this b&b as breakfast is also very good, you will not be dissapointed.
