This was not our first visit because this is a pub you keep returning to . Today we took two french ladies for lunch and they were very happy with the meal. Try the generous starters ( the tankard of prawns is wonderful ), then choose from a varied main menu, and you may just be able to find room for a sweet.
This is what a pub should be like. Friendly staff, absolutely delicious food, good guest ales and a warm ambience over everything.
There is a lovely garden to sit in on a summers day and a log fire when it is cold.
Next time you fancy going out for Sunday lunch, I suggest you try this inn, I guarantee you will go back again.
