This is a Church service like no other! Not at all solemn, though it is respectful. The front half of the church is full of Clowns in their costumes ( who entertain the congregation before and after the service. ) The prayers and the semon always reflect the love of clowning and the role of humour in the Christian message. It is lighthearted throughout. Even the part where the congregation remembers those clowns who have died since last year is lightened by the fact that the organist plays (yes! ) a solemn version of "send in the Clowns"!
A great occasion for the beliver and the clown enthusuast alike

The restaurant changed name to The Dower House at the start of 2007!
There has been a dramatic improvement (since May 2007) with the food, wine and service all showing great skill. Now worth regular visits. A definite rising star.
