Good Points: clean and pleasant room, friendly staff, excellent evening meals, good breakfast Bad Points: toast at breakfast soggy. hotel front door locked at 11pm at night, there does not appear to be any staff on sight after this time, found this out on second night, when fire alarm went off, and passer by alerted member of staff (who arrived in a van)/fire brigade. A bit worrying as large victorian building. General review: Excellent until fire alarm went off, (went off twice the same night) then I had my confidence rattled somewhat, as what might have been in the worst case scenario. Is this leaglly allowed?
