Good Points: My room was comfortable with good working facilities. The toilet was very clean and modern. Bad Points: The room was a bit small, the decoration is very old fashioned and should be more modern or plain neutral colours. Very noisy floor boards. My room also had a broken light bulb. My room was not as clean as it could've been, then was cigarette paper in my room from previous guests as I don't smoke, nor my partner. General Review: I think overall my stay was comfortable but although a 3 star hotel, I still think it could've been better. The decoration is very old and targeted more to the OAP's. I would recommend using light plain colours such as magnolia or cream etc. The leisure facilities were good. The buffet breakfast was not very mice at all. The scrambled eggs made from powder had no taste after it was left to sit in oil for ages. There wasn't a continental breakfast available or a wide range of fresh fruits. Tinned fruits is not a good substitute. The night reception staff just handed me my key without asking for my key card. I hadn't seen him before nor has he seen me, I could've been anybody asking for the key. Security issues there.

I used to look at these pictures of trumpeters pointing their instrument to the ceiling. Stunning pictures, but if you play the trumpet and point it upwards, all the spit comes back into your mouth! - Humphrey Lyttleton
