Overall very pleased with our two-night stay, the location of the hotel could hardly be better – maybe ten minutes’ stroll at most across Jesus Green and then a quiet street or two and we were in the centre, but far enough away from the same to be reasonably tranquil. Our room overlooked the river and said Green, which made for a pleasant outlook. Big plus is their car parking, we arrived and dumped the car for the next couple of days, Cambridge is made for pedestrians and cyclists not drivers. The hotel was easy to find after a long drive.
Could have done without the swirly carpets, but that is just my taste, and we were surprised that having booked a separate room for our teen son it was located miles from ours, but they sorted that for us. Room clean, bathroom likewise. Inclusive continental breakfast excellent apart from the coffee on first morning, though it had been manned up by the second day. Not cheap - not much is in Cambridge – but it made for a comfy stay and was reasonable value.
