My daughter had her wedding reception at Preston Park Hotel and all I can say is that they provided a "world class" service. The hotel made the day memorable for the Bride and Groom, with nothing being too much trouble.
The food was wonderful and hot, the reception hall being laid out perfectly.
The Manager and staff being friendly and so efficient, all of the guests had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for making this a special day for the Bride and Groom and all the guests

Stayed here for a cheap(ish) weekend. The cold bath tap didn't work ie no cold water. The shower was not very good - water all over the floor. The bathroom floor needed a good cleaning. The worst thing was the DUST on every surface in the bedroom; it had not been dusted for ages. The net curtain was filthy with black dust on the top and water stains at the bottom. Bed was comfortable, but I dare not inspect that!
The public rooms are as dirty, as I discovered running my finger over the ledges! Bar toilets; the wash basins have scale build up which anyone knows how to remove
The good points: friendly staff and late checkout.
