You might want to add the 2013 23rd annual event : AWS Gift Fayre Marking its 23rd year, the American Women of Surrey usher in the holiday season with its annual Gift Fayre, a shopping event that supports local charities. This year the Gift Fayre comes to the ACS International School in Cobham, on Sunday, 17 November, from 10am - 4pm. With over 90 merchants, artistisans and crafts people on exhibit, finding that special something for your family and friends will be a treat! Also on site will be some children's activities, our Bake Sale, tombola, My Sister's Attic - nearly new sale, and make sure to have your photo taken with Santa! All are welcome! Admission is £5. The 22nd annual Holiday Gift Fayre 2012 raised over £15,000 including in kind gifts for the AWS charity slate, with over 600 in attendance. Thank you to Jane Aragon, Shunney Nair, our sponsors, and over 100 volunteers for making this Gift Fayre such a success. It’s the benefit that benefits Surrey’s neediest and shoppers alike. Vice nice smart hotel & good food although £40 for dinner (1 person!) and £3.20 a pint was a bit steep and that's from someone who lives in Central London!

Good Points: The accommodation was spacious, modern and clean Bad Points: Nothing General Review: A light and airy hotel with a comtemporary feel to it. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. It represented excellent value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend it to anyone.

Good Points: I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was modern, clean, and trendy. All the staff I spoke to were polite and helpful. Bad Points: There was nothing I disliked. Only comment is that a man must have screwed the hairdryers into the drawers, as they were difficult to stretch to the mirror. You have to keep the button of the hairdryer pressed whilst using which causes difficulty for ladies with hand joint problems. General Review: This hotel is really well placed. Next to Old Trafford football ground, and only 5 minutes walk from the Lowry. My partner and I had booked to see a show, and found the Lowry centre with ease. The whole experience was pleasureable. The hotel staff were exceptional. This hotel is excellent value for money.

Good Points: Clean, modern, spacious. Excellent value for money at the time we stayed. Reception staff were quick to find us an alternative room when we were allocated a designated smoking room. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Bad Points: Room not quite as luxurious as depicted on web site. Mini bar not stocked and lock broken, hole in bed linen took the gloss off what would have been faultless accomodation. General Review: We would like to have known exactly how close to the football ground it was. Fortunately there was no match on the day and night we stayed. The hotels proximity to the Salford Quays could have been better advertised. We had a lovely meal and drinks at the Lowery Centre which was only a ten minute walk from the hotel.
