Good Points: Good location for where we wanted to be. Breakfast was OK. I am glad the it was not more expensive than it is. Bad Points: Almost unusable shower in room 9. Room was too small for four people. OK for one double and just one single bed. No mention on the web site that the bar was closed - it was advertised in the hotel description.

Good Points: Convenient for Motorway and also location of funeral that we were attending Bad Points: No real big issues General Review: The hotel is ideally situated for access from the motorway for inward journey from Southern England and to the church where we were attending a family funeral The room was more than adequate for the one night that we wanted and very good value for money. The breakfast was substantial and well prepared and served. The only minor default was, light over dressing table not working but this was not a big issue, so all in all, we have no complaints and would use this hotel again but hopefully in happier circumstances. Old local photographs and sports memorabillia in the communal areas make for interesting viewing.

Good Points: the staff were friendly and helpful Bad Points: The hotel was shabby and the bar was never open in the evening. The walls were very thin and we had very loud noisy neighbours. The hotel could do with a good facelift and more substantial walls put in instead of stud partition walls to improve the noise levels General Review: see above
