best shop in Bala. Everything in Welsh you could want, music, books, stationary. I was made very welcome, no problem that I was from England, and a learner of the language. Staff very keen to give advice about the area of Bala itself, and its history. I was in Bala every week, and I popped in every day.

What a wonderful site! I know that it's not a real medieval castle but, honestly, you could have fooled me. It's senstational. At the time I visited, there was a medieval festival going on,and this made it all the better
