My self and my wife stayed at the Carpenters Arms in Broadway Laugharne only a couple of weeks ago and I have to say that we had a lovely time. Stan & Babs were geat hosts, very welcoming and friendly. Room great, had all the amenities what more do you want, i had the best nights sleep in ages. Breakfast was fab, there was loads, cereals, toast & jams, fresh fruit & juices, teas, coffee and my favorite "the fry up". The bar area of the pub was a lovely cosy area with an open log fire which I can imagine in the winter would be a real treat to cosy up to with my favorite ale, fine food and my wife of coarse. The dining area was also lovely, the menu superb with a choice of fresh fish, local produce steaks (with my sirloin cooked perfectly) and lots more other choice with presentation excellent. I can not say enough about the carpenters. Stan, babs & staff were great and certainly disagree with the last review, the pub is well looked after inside and out....I stress "I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this place 10/10"....and can I also recommend you stay for Sunday cavery, Top notch...don't even get me started on that one! Will definitely be going back. :0)

Outside of carpenters arms in desperate need of a coat of paint although inside spotless. Our room was to say the least VERY, VERY small and claustrophobic. Not at all impressed. I can honestly say that the full english breakfast was the worst I have had in 40 years I .give it 2/10.
I consider this pub gave very poor value for money!!!
