A sadly dated and decorated hotel in need of refurbishment. Our room (No 5) had holes in the walls, wallpaper badly marked and door locks that were insecure. The shower cubicle needed the grouting cleaning. The bed was so firm!! that the floor had more give in it. No evening food was on offer by the time we got there. The Bar mentioned in the brochure was closed. All in all not a hotel I would recommend, although the staff were amicable enough with the surroundings they have to work in.

General Review: ok - negatives more than balanced by the value for money this place represents

Good Points: Cost effectiveness,nearness to facilities but outside of the city centre
General Review: Good value for money bed and breakfast facility.
