Good Points: Room available when we arrived. Use of gym, although at extra charge. Bad Points: Bar staff unavailable to serve when we went down at about 7 on the Wednesday night, also no one available to let us eat at the restaurant so we were forced to leave the hotel and find a meal elsewhere - we had wanted to chill out and enjoy a drink and meal at the hotel we were staying!! General review: We did have a good break but felt let down by the bar and restaurant facility for evenings and because of this we feel we would not stay here again.

We stayed at the Royal court Hotel for Christmas and I can't praise them enough. Our rooms were clean and bright with nice furniture and many nice touches. The food was excellent, the staff kind and very helpful. The spirit of Christmas was everywhere and there were many surprises ie. a gift from Father Christmas, a Caberet, 1hour complementary drinks each day, wonderful facilities. I could go on for ever. We will certainly go again, and again. Happy New Year to all the staff at the Royal Court Hotel, Coventry who gave us such a wonderful Christmas and a big thankyou.

Good Points: The hotel was quite magnificant and the food wonderful Bad Points: the decor needed up grading General review: The decor in the rooms was of need of an update. The carpet got wet from the shower and the room was also quite cold. Room service was not up to the correct standard and the people who answered the phone were rather rude.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. They give you water with you meal, but no glasses to drink it from. You can have steak, but no steak knife to cut it with. The reception area is near cleaned, the floor is so dirty, I can't believe people have there wedding receptions there. Also be aware fo the bar prices, they go up and down during your stay, depending on whether there is a function on at the time. On Sunday mornings when they have more guests staying they bring out smaller plates for breakfast, so watch out.
