Good Points: The staff were very friendly, it felt more personal than a large hotel chain.
Bad Points: nothing
General Review: Less mobile people may need to know that some of the rooms are reached by three fights of very narrow steep stairs in keeping with the age and style of the building. It also may be of benefit to others to know that it is in a perfect location for Headingley Cricket and Rugby ground, which is why we stayed there. We already knew this having been to the area several times. There has clearly been a lot of thought and attention in presenting the rooms with the best tea/coffee tray I have encountered in any hotel. The rooms were like going back in time, in an upstairs downstairs kind of way.

The accomodation was comfortable and had a certain style unlike some brick and stainless steel hotels.,I enjoyed the sky TV and found the hotel a comfortable and relaxing place,I enjoyed my stay and the service was good.
