The Bull is situated on Long Melford's High Street, near the Village Green. The fine timbered house has a history dating back over 500 years and has been an Inn since 1580. Moulded oak beams frame the reception area, and other authentic features include a huge Elizabethan open fireplace in the lounge and antique carvings in the Cordell Restaurant. A former principal posting house in Tudor times, today the Bull is renowned for its excellent cuisine and chef's specialities. The Cordell and Kentwell Restaurants serve a wide variety of dishes, complemented by an excellent selection of fine wines and cask ales. Lunch time snacks are available in the bar, and during the afternoon, cream teas are served in the courtyard.

The hotel also offers extensive conference and banqueting facilities for up to 120 people, and is licensed for civil ceremonies. The Bull can even host and arrange your wedding service for you.
