Edale is the name given to both the valley between Mam Tor, Lose Hill and Kinder, and to its main settlement. As well as the main village there are several small farming hamlets strung out along the valley - Barber Booth, Ollerbrook Booth and Nether Booth. (the hotel bedrooms are named after the booths and walks around Edale) The main village is pretty and timeless, lying just off the main road along Hope Valley. The Railway Station is situated at the end of the village within walking distance of the Rambler Country House Hotel. The Rambler is a perfect base for sightseeing and adventure in some of the most beautiful parts of the Derbyshire Peak District; Abney, Bamford, Bradwell, Hathersage, Hope and Castleton.
