Standing on the seafront, the Royal couldn't have a better location. From the picture windows there's an enviable view of the broad sweep of the bay with its sparkling waters and soft golden sands, while just a pleasant stroll away lies the resort's heritage heartland, complete with its ancient 17th century harbour, enticing shops and Brewers Quay. A handsome building of great character, behind it's Georgian facade there lies a place of comfort and warmth, where, when you're not Out and about, time can be spent in convivial and relaxing surroundings. All in all, there's so much to tempt the visitor to return to Weymouth and the Royal Hotel, time and time again.

They talk of a man betraying his country, his friends, his sweetheart. There must be a moral bond first. All a man can betray is his conscience. - Joseph Conrad
