Swinton Park’s Executive chef, Simon Crannage, enjoys an enviable reputation for the quality of the food served at Samuel's. Swinton Park's 3 AA rosette Restaurant. The emphasis in the restaurant menu is on seasonal and local produce inspired by the fruit, vegetables and herbs grown in the hotel's four acre walled garden (the largest hotel kitchen garden in the UK), and the menus change accordingly. Dinner in Samuel's Restaurant offers guests a choice of Signature Menu, Garden Produce Menu or Tasting Menu.
Simon recently won Yorkshire Life’s Food and Drink Award `Chef of the Year 2011’. Samuel's restaurant has been awarded the Sustainable Restaurant Association’s status of "Three Star Sustainability Champion". The award follows a survey of 14 areas of sustainability with a focus on the three key areas of Sourcing, Society and Environment.
