Have a complete day out with the Talyllyn Railway. Combine walking in the glorious Welsh countryside with unlimited train travel for the day. Our fully detailed walk leaflets guide you and your family from the railway through the fields and forest, past waterfalls and country inns to rejoin the Talyllyn at one of our award-winning stations. The world's first preserved railway, the TR still operates all the original engines passenger carriages first built in 1865 as well as historic locos and coaches from other narrow gauge railways.

Tywyn Wharf Station is home to the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum. Our licensed cafe and tea room serve hot and cold drinks and snacks with hot meals and a bar at Tywyn Station.
