The theatre at Bedford School is a long established campus venue that
has undergone many developments since its opening in 1979. The theatre
prides itself on being a competitive arts & entertainment venue for the
local community, whether this be hosting high profile touring acts such as
The Reduced Shakespeare Company and Stones in His Pockets or providing a
flexible venue for local amateur groups.
Additional to our successful touring programme, internal school productions
are of the very highest standard: many visitors have commented that an
evening at the Theatre compares favourably with a night out watching a
professional show. We have a tradition of excellence, which now goes back
many years.
