B and Bs in Portrush
Harbour Heights is conveniently located just yards from all of Portrush’s main attractions, transport links, shops restaurants and amusement parks. It is Northern Ireland Tourist Board Certificate and has completed all “Welcome Host” customer care programmes.
This large handsome Victorian terrace house, built around 1870, has uninterrupted views of the European Blue Flag beach, harbour and the Inishowen Peninsula. The proprietors Ann & Robin Rossborough aim to set and maintain the highest professional standards. Ann has an honours degree in Hospitality Management and is a member of the Hotel and Catering International Management Association. Harbour Heights is a registered “Hospitable Climate” which means an effort is made to conserve energy, save water and not pollute the atmosphere; this is carried out with the co-operation of guests.
A refurbishment programme has maintained the character and charm of the original house. Our colour scheme has been inspired by the rich nature around us, a palette of shimmering sand, blue sea and gold sunsets. Discerning guests will find personal service and attention to detail conducive to a relaxing stay.
Rooms have hospitality trays, colour television, direct dial telephones trouser press and hairdryer. We can accommodate groups of approximately 15, such as wedding parties or golfers who have the opportunity to play spectacular local course of Royal Portrush, Portstewart, Ballycastle and Castlerock. Walkers and cyclists are very welcome; we offer storage for bicycles and clothes drying facilities. Early breakfast, packed lunch and later than normal dinners can be arranged.
