The hamlet of Whitehough is found via Chinley off the B6062 or via the sign on the B5470 at Chapel-en-le-Frith. It is worth seeking out The Old Hall Inn, a historic premises attached to Whitehough Hall: the present structure dating back to the 16th century. The interior is comfortable and welcoming, while the superb beer garden (part of the main Hall) is a simply wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing drink. Michael and Ann Capper have been the owners here since 1979 and the inn offers traditional cask ales. Food is the big draw here, served Mon to Thurs 5pm-9pm
