Built in the 1260's, The Star Alfriston is one of England's oldest hostelries. Set in the idyllic village of Alfriston, the hotel is steps from the South Down's Trail, with easy access to Glyndebourne, Brighton, Eastbourne or the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry. Delicious dinners and Sunday lunches served in the Capella restaurant, and a more casual bar menu and cream teas served in the hotel lounges. Free Wi-Fi throughout and free car park. Local activities include golf, horseback riding and Drusilla's Family Park. Pet and family friendly.
