Inns in Liskeard
Highest Inn in Cornwall - Wake up to the wide open spaces in the ruggesd charm of Bodmin Moor. Built in 1850 the property is in an ideal location for exploring Bodmin Moor and touring Cornwall. The Wheal Tor Hotel is sited in two acres of woodland on the rugged slopes of Caradon Hill. It is the Highest Inn in Cornwall set in this remote location on the eastern edge of Bodmin Moor. From here there are magnificent views towards both Dartmoor to the east and the Cornish coastlines to the south and west.
The cosy bar and non-smoking restaurant are popular with the locals. These are situated in the main house and their traditional decor reflects the local mining heritage. We offer guests a welcoming haven with a varied menu and a well stocked bar set in a friendly and relaxing environment.
